C. Hub magazine Launches a Black Women series in view of International women’s day 2016.
C. Hub magazine today launches a ground breaking series to highlight the contributions of Black women in nation building in a series articles which will be streamed on the website every week. These articles will include profiles of women of colour in every sector to encourage and highlight heroism among Black girls and women.
Faustina Anyanwu the magazine’s Chief editor said, “It’s important that we focus our energy in highlighting the best of women of colour as there isn’t much credit given to these women. If we truly want to build a nation of confident, high esteemed girls in our communities, we must show them their role models by creating awareness of the contributions that women like them make.”
The series is in collaboration with Divas of colour International women’s expo and award organised by MBW PR . The yearly event is a special day to celebrate, recognize and discover the best of women of colour from around the globe.
C. Hub magazine is now encouraging people to send in their suggestions of women they want to hear about in other to be fully part of this project. The public can visit the C. Hub magazine website to send comment, or use the #Womenofcolourseries on social media to connect with other commenters .
The weekly series will run from now till end of March 2016 with different headlines focusing emerging Black women entrepreneurs, influential women of colour, top women of note , individual Black women profiles and companies.
